Visited here out of curiousity. It seems they have coffee and spicy noodles (malatang) at the same shop, which is interesting. our first time trying malatang, which turned out amazing. The spiciness whetted my appetite. Lots of choices and very good deal. The owner/staff was helpful as well. Not much MSG i think as not thirsty after eating. Next time will go try their coffee and fries.
The soup is really amazing. I love the soup and I will be back for the food. I loved it. The good thing is it's really close to my place so very convenient.
Mala dry mix was incredibly tasty.I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Hobart. Carrie provided amazing service as well!
I had the Medium Spicy Hot Soup Pot. As soon as I took the first bite, it was so delicious that I finished the whole thing before I even realized it—I didn't even have time to take a photo! A warm soup dish in a starving stomach was just heavenly at that moment. Also, the ingredients were cut into perfect, bite-sized pieces, which made me focus on the food even more. People choose their meals for different reasons, but I believe there's a clear reason why so many people visit this place. I had a great meal

Great food and friendly staff !! It’s defo good for people who prefers less oil and salt in their dishes. Price is affordable too. The environment of the cafe is very cozy and perfect for a good catch up with friends and families. Will be back again.
I thoroughly enjoy every time I have a meal here. The malatang soup is so flavourful, numbing and spicy in the best way. I love being able to choose what ingredients are in my dish, with fresh vegetable produce always. My order preference for a vegan soup base is always accepted and accommodated for, and I’m super appreciative of this. The most friendly service every time. I go here at least once a week and never get tired of the same meal. Love this place!
